The RHODE Beauty founder’s pictures from the Time 100 Gala 2026 have taken the internet by storm. The event was held on Thursday at the Frederick P Rose Hall. For the occasion, Hailey Bieber chose to wear a custom YSL lilac lace gown held by two thin strings and featuring subtle flower details throughout.

The dress had a structured bodice and a plunging square neckline. Meanwhile, the skirt fell straight and sleek and gathered into a tiny pool at her feet. Her brown hair was styled in soft waves that perfectly complemented the outfit. Bieber’s delicate makeup, including a light blush and nude lip shade, completed the elegant look.

  • The top contenders remain Prince William’s alma mater, the all-boys Eton College, and Kate Middleton’s alma mater, Marlborough College, which is co-ed.

  • The Princess of Wales is in the midst of an “emotional time” as she prepares for an “empty seat at the table,” according to a royal biographer.

The Wales family of five will soon be in a season of change.

Prince Georgewill turn 13 years old this summer, and not long after will be heading off to secondary school. The top two contenders for where the future king will go?Prince William’s alma mater, the all boys Eton College, andKate Middleton’s alma mater, the co-ed Marlborough College.

The Princess of Wales is in the middle of an “emotional time” as she prepares for an “empty seat at the table,” royal biographer Robert Jobson toldHello!.

For George, “It’s a chance for him to spread his wings and take part in things in the afternoons and evenings instead of going home to Mum and Dad,” Jobson said of George potentially boarding at school.

“You can’t just pop home when you want to,” Jobson added, emphasizing that George’s shift to boarding school will be major for the family, which also includes his siblings,Princess CharlotteandPrince Louis. “They are such a tight family unit,” he explained.

Both William and Kate “know what it was like,” Jobson continued, adding that the Prince and Princess of Wales “both boarded, so they know how it works.”

A friend of the Prince and Princess of Wales toldHello!that the family of five is “a great example of a happy family.” Kate has always been outspoken about giving her children as normal of a childhood as possible—despite the circumstances—and “William has always been intent on achieving that,” the friend added. “Catherine also comes from a near idyllic family background, what with her two amazing parents and close sibling relationships.”

As a palace insider toldPeople, “Those children look pretty happy with life. A lot of it is the stabilizing normality Kate brings—and that’s how she grew up. William absolutely loves it.”

“Coming from a different background, [Kate] appreciates the importance of having family time,” a source close to the royal household said. “She wasn’t brought up in that aristocratic setting where you see the children for a short time each day.”

A friend added that “Royal families over the generations haven’t had the chance to get those foundations right, but they have.”

While it’s still unclear exactly where George is headed in the fall, a source toldVanity Fairearlier this year, “While Eton would be the obvious choice because it is on their doorstep and where William went, they are leaning towards other schools. I’m hearing Marlborough is the frontrunner.”

Royal biographer Ingrid Seward told the outlet, “I expect we will be told later on in the summer at the very last minute, when the security detail has been organized, but clearly it’s an important consideration. It will require two protection officers taking it in turns to look after George while he’s at school.”

“William loved Eton and did well academically, but I don’t think we should assume George will follow suit,” she continued. “For a start, we are seeing William doing things differently. He is mindful of costs and appearances when it comes to his family and the future.”

Marlborough, a source toldVanity Fair, has an advantage because it is co-ed, meaning that all three of the Wales children could continue to attend school together, as they do now at Lambrook. “Kate had a great time at Marlborough and it ticks all the boxes,” the source said. “I think if they can, they would love for all three children to be at school together, which puts Marlborough as the top choice.”

“Beaches” review: You'll laugh and, yes, you'll cry on Broadway

“Spoiler alert: she dies,” someone said as the audience took their seats before a preview performance ofBeacheson Broadway, which opened tonight at the Majestic Theatre.

While blunt, the theater-goer is not wrong. Famously sad and based on the 1988 movie starringBette MidlerandBarbara Hersheyand the 1985 novel by Iris Rainer Dart, both of the same name,Beachestells the story of best friends Cee Cee Bloom and Bertie White. (Bertie’s name was changed to Hillary for the film.)

On stage, Jessica Vosk takes on the role of Cee Cee (made famous by Midler) and Kelli Barrett plays Bertie (Hershey in the film… as Hillary). While Vosk is known for starring as Elphaba inWickedfor several years, Barrett previously played the character’s younger sister, Nessarose. She also portrayedLiza Minnelliin the TV showFosse/Verdon.

The BFFs — one a scrappy, inspiring performer and the other from a wealthy, proper family — meet on the boardwalk in Atlantic City and quickly bond despite their differences. The witty dialogue known from the movie is there from the jump, with youngversions of Cee Ceeand Bertie (played by Samantha Schwartz and Zeya Grace, respectively), delivering not-so-age appropriate lines and standing up to their mothers with a mix of sass and spunk. “Little Cee” and “Little Bertie,” who make appearances throughout the show, ultimately become a highlight of the production.

Teen versions of Bertie (Emma Ogea) and Cee Cee (Bailey Ryon) are also introduced as the pair stay in touch via letters over the years before Bertie eventually comes to live with Cee Cee. Whenever directors Lonny Price and Matt Cowart have all six women were on stage at the same time, it is hard not to smile and think:This is girlhood.

That sentiment, however, fades a bit as the show changes the plot of the movie, seemingly in an attempt to stay true to the book. While all three versions of Cee Cee and Bertie’s story include a fight over theater director John Perry (he sleeps with Bertie first before eventually marrying Cee Cee), the film introduces tension between the women not solely based on a man. A plot device of a second “love triangle” conflict — Bertie’s husband Michael randomly making a pass at Cee Cee — was disappointing and provided a lack of growth of Bertie’s character, who becomes a confident lawyer in the movie, but not on stage.

There’s also a musical number from John (Brent Thiessen) and Michael (Ben Jacoby) called “God Bless Girlfriends” that felt unnecessary — we didn’t come here to hear two men explain (or complain?) about female friendship. On a more positive note with the songs (music by Mike Stoller, lyrics by Dart), you justknowVosk will have a proper rendition of “The Wind Beneath My Wings” on lock when you hear her sing “A Real Woman” in the first act.

The four-year falling out over the Michael incident leads to a second act that doesn’t quite capture the fun, light-hearted spirit from act one, but does naturally prepare the crowd for the ending — WARNING: We’re circling back to that aforementioned spoiler — when Bertie, now a single mom, is terminally ill.

Cee Cee drops everything to take care of Bertie as the women are reunited at the beach before she takes her last breath. Singing the signature song from the movie, Vosk is joined by Teen Cee Cee and Little Cee Cee for “The Wind Beneath My Wings,” which will have you reaching for your best friend and making her promise not to die. Okay, maybe that was just me, but either way, you’ll be grabbing your tissues and be reminded that Vosk truly is a powerhouse.Grade B–

Here, that same effect was present on the pop star’s curvy top, which was like a stone-colored corset with two rounded arches forming the bust. At the waist of the body-hugging piece, a skinny black leather belt was added for a dressy touch.

Then, the bodice transformed into a short panel of sheer black material, which bared Jennie’s midriff, before meeting an inky velvet pencil skirt. To complement the stormy hues of her design, the “Mantra” singer slipped into a pair of pointy black pumps. Finally, she accessorized with large almond-shaped statement earrings from Swadesh, which were set with irregular diamonds like cuts of flagstone.
