Paris Jackson accuses estate executors of ‘mocking’ her, claims report

Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson, reportedly accused the estate’s executors of belittling her in a new filing. As per documents obtained byPEOPLE,she filed a new legal document on April 6. In the documents, she accused executors John Branca and John McClain of using the latest reports to “mock and belittle her.”

The filing states, “This overlitigation is waste. At nearly every hearing… Executors try to avoid the merits by characterizing Paris’s concerns as lawyer-driven or in service of some purported desire for media attention. Neither is true. This litigation is painful for Paris. It is a distraction from her own life and her own career.”

The 28-year-old has accused Branca and McClain of abusing their roles as executors for their own benefit, a claim the two executors have categorically denied. This comes after the executors filed an 83-page status report earlier this month discussing a March 24 court hearing. According to the executors, Paris’ legal team allegedly pulled out at the last minute after previously agreeing to everything.

The core issue between the two parties is the estate’s annual accounting information. According to Paris’ filing, she has requested of “an efficient, transparent, and orderly process” and accused the executors of “operat(ing) in the dark.”

In her new filing, the 28-year-old has alleged that the executors have used the media to “attack” her, which she deems “unacceptable.” She cited a comment allegedly made by the executors’ attorney, Jonathan Steinsapir, at the March 11 hearing. According to the filing, Steinsapir remarked that Paris was “strutting” into the courtroom.

The filing further states that these personal attacks are used to bully Paris into submission. However, they have nothing to do with the estate itself. Steinsapir denied these claims to the outlet and claimed that Paris and her attorneys have orchestrated this media campaign.
