Last week, The Road stopped at The Factory in Dallas, Texas, where six of the 11 artists each performed two songs for the audience to vote on before country great Keith Urban took the stage. This week, the remaining five will sing to try to keep their spot on the tour bus.
Night two in Dallas saw Billie Jo Jones, Briana Adams, Cassidy Daniels, Forrest McCurren and Jon Wood try to impress both Keith and Blake Shelton, who make the final decision as to who was eliminated after the audience voted the bottom two.

For their second performance of the season, each artist had to sing an original song and a cover with the goal in mind to win over the audience's votes.
The bottom two vote getters were then assessed by Blake and Keith, and one had to give up their seat on the bus when they were eliminated. Here's a spoiler-filled recap of who went home on The Road tonight, as well as who landed in the top and the bottom.

Who finished at the top on The Road tonight?
The top vote getter of the night was Cassidy Daniels, who also finished in the Top 3 on premiere night. Cassidy performed a cover of "Angel from Montgomery" by John Prine and her original was "Heart Shaped Necklace."
"You continue to blow people away with your connection to the audience," Blake told her. "It's very cool. I'm happy for you."
"Getting the top spot two times in a row makes me very excited but I was surprised," Cassidy said.
Who was in The Road bottom two tonight?
The bottom two, as voted on by the audience, were Forrest McCurren, who was also in the bottom three on premiere night, and Jon Wood.
"I think you both had really good moments tonight as far as getting that crowd," Keith said. "It was harder for Jon because he was first on right out of the gate. But I think you held your own. And Forrest, I think you are such a good storyteller. Your original tonight in particular. I get presented with what the audience voted, and the audience put you two in the bottom. I look at you two and decide who should go through. For me, Forrest, I think you had the edge tonight, so we're going to have you carry on. Jon, I'm sorry, man."
"I am in a weird headspace," Jon said. "I don't necessarily feel like I lost. I had a good time. I have had a lot of disappointments in this business. The saddest part is not hopping on the bus and going to the next venue. But I'm going to keep writing good songs and putting out music and learning from my mistakes and try to be the best I can."
The Road airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and streams the next day on Paramount+.
