Katy Perry & Justin Trudeau’s Alleged Wedding Raising Red Flags — Source

Katy PerryandJustin Trudeauhave quickly become one of the most talked-about celebrity pairings, and their whirlwind romance is now fueling speculation about a possible wedding. The couple, who have been linked since last July, recently turned heads at Coachella, where they were spotted holding hands, dancing during Justin Bieber’s set, and later sharing a casual late-night meal. Perry even gave fans a glimpse into their outing through a carousel of photos.

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau’s wedding plans causing ‘raised eyebrows,’ per source

For many, the relationship has been a refreshing new chapter for the pop star following her split from Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares her daughter, Daisy Dove. Behind the scenes, however, sources say the pace of the relationship has raised concerns among those close to the couple. While Katy Perry is reportedly embracing a fresh start in the romance wholeheartedly, insiders claim discussions about marriage have already begun. “People are happy for them,” onesourcesays, “but there are also a lot of raised eyebrows because everything has moved so fast and so intensely.”

According to the insider, the relationship appears to have escalated rapidly, transforming into what they describe as an “all-consuming” connection in a relatively short time. Some of the hesitation stems from the timing. Perry’s breakup from Orlando Bloom, a long-term relationship, is still relatively recent, and those around her worry she may be rushing into another major commitment before fully processing that chapter. “She went from crying about the end of her relationship with Orlando to completely obsessed with Justin, so it’s hard for friends not to worry that she’s just rebounding.”

While no one close to the singer is questioning Justin Trudeau himself, the speed at which the relationship has progressed has become a talking point. “No one is saying Justin isn’t a great catch,” the insider adds. “But it does seem rather fast to be planning a wedding, considering she’s barely out of a ten-year relationship.”

Key Points

  • The 13 Reasons Why actress took photos of the texts she says she saw while they were on a flight.

  • She captioned her message, "Why post, you may wonder? Because I can and this man is an alt-right vampire."

Tommy Dorfman is slamming a fellow passenger on her recent flight.

The13 Reasons Whyactress, who came out as transgender in 2021,shared a series of photoson Instagram showing an older man texting various contacts about his discomfort over sharing a row with a trans traveler.

"I am in the first aisle of first class. Guess what is sitting next to me? A f---ing transsexual in the midst of going from a man to a woman," the man's text message read. "Just my luck. I was hoping for a hot babe!!"

He added, "Two and a half hours of sitting next to this freak!!"

Dorfman's photos showed the passenger texting the same message to several different recipients.

The actress shared her reaction to her seatmate's cruelty in her caption.

"The audacity of this man so blatantly blasting off texts about me (sparing you the deeply misogynistic and revolting comments on our flight attendants in contrast to my freak) only reaffirms the choices I've made for myself to feel safe and comfortable in my body and spirit," she wrote. "This does come at the cost of safety and comfort in the world, especially in America, and that's not without consequence internally and externally. I am lucky to have the life I have, the ability to fly freely (for now), and even post s--- like this."

Dorfman also reflected on her appearance. "Objectively, I know I'm not 'passing' and I'm 'bricky' and 'clocky,' but passing hasn't been the point for me, nor should it be for any trans person," she wrote. "We are all allowed to evolve in any way that feels true, and that evolution can expand and contract. It's always been about alignment and autonomy for my own comfort, not the comfort of others or the expectations of society."

In one of the photos, the passenger received responses from a contact named Samantha, who wrote back, "Just remember many people you love are LGBTQ+ and this country sucks for them right now. Be kind!"

Dorfman gave Samantha a shout-out at the end of her caption. "And why post, you may wonder? Because I can and this man is an alt-right vampire AND because Samantha deserves her flowers," she wrote.

Oscar statuette for 'Mr. Nobody Against Putin' goes missing on flight

By Matthias Williams

Reuters

LONDON, May 1 (Reuters) - TheOscar statuettebelonging to Pavel Talankin, the Russian director who won best documentary this year for 'Mr. ‌Nobody Against Putin', has gone missing after he was forced to ‌check the award into hold luggage on a flight from New York to Germany, his co-director said.

Talankin was due to fly from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Frankfurt on German carrier Lufthansa. But Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents told him that the 8.5 lb (3.8 kg) statuette posed a potential security threat, his co-director David Borenstein said on Thursday.

"At ‌the airport, a TSA agent stopped him and said the Oscar could be used as a weapon," Borenstein said on Instagram.

"Pavel didn’t have a bag to check it in, so the TSA put the Oscar in a box and sent it to the bottom of the plane," he said, posting a series of pictures, including of the box.

"It never arrived in Frankfurt."

Responding to Borenstein's Instagram post, Lufthansa said it ‌was taking the matter seriously.

"We will do everything we can to find the Oscar as fast as possible and have already escalated this," it said.

Lufthansa did not immediately respond to a request for further comment on Friday, which is a public holiday in Germany.

Speaking to the online magazine Deadline.com after arriving in Germany on ‌Thursday, Talankin said it was "completely baffling how they consider an Oscar a weapon."

On previous flights on various airlines, he had flown with it "in the cabin, and there never was any kind ‌of problem," he told the outlet.

Talankin and Borenstein's documentary used two years of footage that Talankin recorded at a school where he worked in Russia's Chelyabinsk region, to show how students were exposed to pro‑war messaging.

The 35-year-old Talankin, ‌who fled Russia in 2024, has defended the film as a record for posterity to show how "an entire generation became angry and aggressive".
