TheProperty Brothersstar celebrated his 48th birthday on Tuesday, April 28, and Deschanel shared a sweet message in honor of the occasion.
TheNew Girlalum, 46, posted anInstagramcarousel, including adorable photos of her and Scott together.
“Happy Birthday@jonathanscott, can't wait to celebrate you. I'm truly so lucky ❤️,” she captioned the post. She also shared the post to her Instagram Stories, soundtracked by Minnie Riperton's “Lovin' You.”
“Thanks for showing me the BEST time for my birthday 🥰," Scott replied in the comments.
The actress' post included several selfies of the couple, with the pair embracing one another. Two of the selfies were snapped during a boat ride on vacation, one of which showed the couple kissing.
She also added a photo of the couple all dressed up for a red carpet event. The carousel concluded with a final selfie of the engaged couple smiling and enjoying the outdoors.
The couplefirst met in 2019on the set of James Corden'sCarpool Karaoke.Four years later, in August 2023, the HGTV starpopped the question.

In November, Scott told PEOPLE they haven't made "any plans yet" for their wedding.
"We literally haven't made any plans yet. We're busy with all of the kids' stuff, and so we're really just chauffeurs to the kids' social lives," he added. Deschanel shares daughterElsie, 10, and son Charlie, 8,with her ex-husband Jacob Pechenik.
He noted that "there's a lot of stuff we want to do" for their big day.
The next month, in December, Deschanel told PEOPLE that she and Scott are"not in a rush" to walk down the aisle.
"It's more exploratory," she said. "We're not in a rush because we've been together so long, so it's not like we're like, 'We gotta get married.' I'd rather find the right place, the right place and situation, so that it's really special and fun."

During the December conversation with PEOPLE, she also shared how her fiancé “came to the rescue” by helping her parents after they lost their L.A.-area home in the January 2025Los Angeles wildfires.
In the aftermath of the fires, Scott and Deschanel began rebuilding her parents' home with "non-combustible materials" following the devastating loss.
