Southern Charm Salley Carson

Apparently,Southern CharmstarSalley Carsonhas a thing about sliding into people's DMs.

"I'm definitely talking to people," she told the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, which aired this morning. "I'm just not seriously dating."

After admitting that she's not on any dating apps, Salley teased, "I slide in the DMs." Recently, she even slid into the DMs of an NFL professional athlete, who may already have a girlfriend.

The NFL's Cooper DeJean is allegedly dating WWE's Nikki Garcia

"I just slid intoCooper DeJean's," Salley confessed. Cooper is a cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles, and he's just 23 years old. He's alsoreportedly datingWWE legendNikki Garcia.

Perhaps "dating" is too strong a word, since Nikki has only been to a couple of Eagles games, and she and Cooper have "hung out." Plus she's 20 years older than him, just getting over anasty divorceand has a child.

Although it wasn't her first "slide," Salley recalled sending Cooper an article about his relationship with Nikki, asking, "Are you dating her?"

It all started with the two "liking" each other's social media pictures, but they soon became friendly. "I have his number. I think he's so cute. He's going to kill me," she said, blushing furiously.

After "liking" a post about Cooper and Nikki "possibly dating," Salley finally messaged him.

"I went to his page [and thought], 'Oh, he's super cute,'" she said. "Then I liked his photo, and he liked three of mine. Then I DM'd him, [and] he DM'd me back."

She was actually "shocked" that he responded, since he has 1.1 million Instagram followers. Maybe he's a Southern Charm fan?

Noting that they've yet to meet in real life, they still seem to be in contact. Salley shared, "I told him 'happy birthday' like two days ago."

"I would love to meet him if he's not dating [Nikki]," she added. "Now I'm scared because that girl is going to beat my ass if they are dating."

Southern Charmairs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams the next day on Peacock.

Savannah Chrisley

Many fans ofThe Viewaren't excited aboutSavannah Chrisleyappearing on the show. This week the reality star serves as a guest host on the panel of outspoken women who discuss hot-button issues and the world of politics, among other things. Savannah's family had been blasted by the regulars on that program before. Her parents were convicted of tax evasion and fraud in 2022.

WhenDonald Trumpwas voted back in as President, however, he pardoned Savannah's parents, drawing widespread criticism from panellists on the ABC show.

The star ofThe Chrisleys: Back to Realitysaid that she hasn't forgotten what they said about her mom and dad.

The View fans questioned Savannah Chrisley's role on the show

There is no realm in this entire universe where I would care one iota what Savannah Chrisley believes about truth and justiceHer opinion on the Clintons means nothing when her parents are Todd & Julie ChrisleyTake that fake face and persona and audition elsewhere#TheView

Even though Savannah and The View hosts seemingly have different perspectives on the President, some didn't want to see the debate. Online, one person said they wouldn't care one iota about Savannah's views about "truth and justice," among other things.

Another personsaid on X, formerly Twitter, that she wouldn't watch Savannah on the show, calling her guest appearance wrong. Meanwhile, another usersuggested the reality star offers nothing to the program.

Those are just a few of the many who were fuming about Savannah's appearance. In December, Savannah expressed excitement about being part of the show that"bashed my parents."

The View has been bringing in many new faces to the panel whileAlyssa Farah Griffinis on maternity leave. She and her husband, Justin, welcomed a baby boy into the world last week. That is the couple's first child together.

Executive producers of the long-running show have said many of their fill-in hosts have been deliberately chosen. They are reportedly seeking people with viewpoints different from most. That seems to be why Savannah got the call. No word on when Alyssa will return to the program.

Oscar-nominated co-writer of 'It Was Just an Accident' released from Iranian prison

Mehdi Mahmoudian, the Oscar-nominated cowriter of"It Was Just an Accident,"has been released from an Iranian prison 17 days after his arrest, according to local media reports.

Mahmoudian was arrested in Tehran shortly after signing a statement condemning Islamic Republic leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the regime's violent crackdown on demonstrators. On Tuesday, he was released from the Nowshahr prison, along with two other signatories of the statement, Vida Rabbani and Abdollah Momeni.

No further details on any charges against Mahmoudian were immediately available. All three were released on bail.

Mahmoudian is nominated for best original screenplay at theAcademy Awards, along with Nader Saeivar, Shadmehr Rastin and director Jafar Panahi. The film, a revenge drama inspired by Panahi's own time in jail, is also nominated for best international feature, as a submission from France.

"Mehdi Mahmoudian, Vida Rabbani, and Abdollah Momeni peacefully exercised their right to express their views, but the regime responded by accusing them of 'insulting the Supreme Leader' and 'propaganda against the Islamic Republic,'" Panahi said in a statement Tuesday. "For years, such charges have been used as tools to criminalize thought, silence criticism, and instill fear in society. Turning a civil and peaceful act into a national security case is a clear sign of intolerance toward the independent voices of citizens."

Mahmoudian, a writer and political activist, has previously been imprisoned multiple times, including a five-year term that ended in 2014 on charges of "mutiny against the regime." Panahi, who has himself been jailed and put under house arrest by the Islamic Republic regime, first met him in prison.

Thousands were killed in last month's nationwide protests in Iran. International pressure has grown over the regime's crackdown on demonstrators, includinga mass protest held over the weekendin Munich. On Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump said thatregime change in Iran"would be the best thing that could happen."

At least 4 people are dead in a multi-vehicle pileup in Colorado and multiple fires are breaking out across the Plains as powerful winds wreak havoc across the region.

The pileup on Interstate 25 south of Pueblo, Colorado, involved over 30 vehicles as winds gusted up to 61 mph, blowing dust and dirt around, reducing visibility and causing "brown out" conditions.

At least 29 people were taken to the hospital with injuries, according to the Colorado State Patrol, which did not provide any additional information on the severity of those injuries.

A three-mile stretch of the interstate remains shut down between mile markers 91 and 94 and there is no estimated reopening time, the Colorado Department of Transportation said.

The same powerful winds are causing fire weather conditions to go downhill fast in a "particularly dangerous situation" fire threat that's gripping the region.

A wildfire that broke out late Tuesday morning in Beaver County, Oklahoma, rapidly crossed into southwest Kansas in just a few hours. It's burned about 15,000 acres as of Tuesday afternoon, according to theOklahoma Forestry Service.

The fire is threatening at least two communities in Kansas. Evacuations are underway in Englewood and Ashland, according to CNN affiliateKAKE. At least one health center in Ashland, a town of around 700 people, reported it was evacuating in asocial media post.

To the south, officials issued a a fire warning Tuesday afternoon in the Texas Panhandle for a "dangerous wildfire" about four miles east of Goodnight, Texas, that was moving northeast at 3 to 5 mph.

More than 750,000 people in parts of five states across the Plains are facing Level 3 of 3 extremely critical fire weather conditions – damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph, extremely dry air and ample dead, dry vegetation – Tuesday.

"This is a Particularly Dangerous Situation," the National Weather Service said in a red flag warning. "If fires start, they will spread rapidly and will be extremely difficult to control."

Wind gusts are cranking up across a widespread area in the Plains and will only increase through the afternoon. Burlington, Colorado, clocked a gust of 71 mph and gusts over 60 mph have been observed in western Kansas and the Oklahoma and Texas panhandles.

Past wildfires sparked in similar conditions have been devastating:2024's Smokehouse Creek Firein the Texas Panhandle, the state's largest wildfire, burned through more than 500 structures.

The fire weather concerns will peak this afternoon as winds reach their peak and humidity levels bottom out to their lowest level between 10 to 15%. Conditions will remain dangerous into the early evening hours before easing up overnight.

Tuesday's strong winds in the Plains are also generating more than just dangerous fire conditions.

High-profile vehicles like semi-trucks could be blown over and any dust lofted into the air could cause poor visibility for drivers. Scattered power outages are also possible.

Another storm could kick up winds and increase fire danger to critical conditions, the second-highest level, tomorrow afternoon in the southern High Plains, from eastern New Mexico and West Texas into the Oklahoma Panhandle, southwest Kansas and southeast Colorado.

CNN's Eric Zerkel contributed to this report.
