Glen Powellrevealed the meanest prank he's ever played on his sister — and it involved former costarJoe Jonas.

Glen caught up with PEOPLE exclusively at a special screening of his new dark comedy,How to Make a Killing, in Los Angeles on Saturday, Feb. 14. The movie features a hefty dose of family-related scheming, which led PEOPLE to ask the actor about the most mischievous thing he's ever done to his parents or siblings.

"I did … a prank phone call on mysister [Leslie]with Joe Jonas of getting arrested, and my sister literally was searching in every jail in Georgia for the two of us," Glen, 37, revealed.

Glen and Jonas, 36, appeared together in the 2022 war film,Devotion, which also starredJonathan Majors.

"Joe figured out a way to get — I think it was on like Google Translate — for it to sound like a jail was calling my sister for a collect call, and so … my sister accepted the call, and I basically just pretended like Joe and I hit somebody in a golf cart and that we needed to be bailed out," he continued.

"And my sister took it very seriously. And then I ended the call, and then my sister searched every jail in Georgia looking for Joe Jonas and me," Glen added. "It was very sweet of her. It showed the dedication that my sister has to me, but I'm not going to do a mean prank on her like that again because she's too sweet."

As to whether Leslie ever got him back?

"She did get me back. She was salivating to return that favor, I remember," he shared.

Leslie, 33, a musician and the youngest Powell sibling, is accomplished in the entertainment industry in her own right. Her work has appeared in various TV shows, movies and commercials. She's even worked on the score for several projects that starred her brother, includingTwistersandAnyone But You.

And while Glen may enjoy a good sibling prank, he often sings his younger sister's praises, calling her "no doubt my favorite artist of all" in a past interview withNylon.

"Nothing puts me in a better mood than [Leslie's] music," he said. "Remember the name. She's a star," he added.

The pair also have an older sister, Lauren Powell, 39, who lives near Glen in Texas and is mom to his four nieces and nephews.

In a 2023 profile withTexas Highways,the actor revealed that these day the Powell family often congregates at their "family ranch in East Texas."

Russell Myers details both the Prince and Princess of Wales' reaction to the seismic decision in his new book,William and Catherine: The Monarchy's New Era: The Inside Story, out March 10. In January 2020, Prince Harry andMeghan Markleannounced their intention to "step back as senior members of the royal family" and split their time between the U.K. and North America.

In an excerpt of Myers' book published byThe Mirror, the author detailed why "Catherine had less interest than her husband in trying to persuade Harry to stay in his current role."

Myers explained, "She believed William and Harry's fundamental differences as the 'heir and the spare' had created the inevitability of Harry wanting more from his role than being a bit-part player."

On the other hand, the excerpt noted that "William was intensely saddened at his brother's decision to quit."

"He and Harry had been drifting apart for years, but now he knew deep down that there would be no turning back," Myers wrote. "Fond memories of their childhood, from helping each other through the tragedy of their mother's death, to growing up in the public eye, were now tarnished by the division at the heart of the family."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex relocated in 2020 to her home state of California, where they are raising their two children,Prince Archie, 6, andPrincess Lilibet, 4.

In their initial statement about their step back, Meghan and Harry expressed their hope to become "financially independent" while continuing to support the monarch. However, it was made clear during a meeting dubbed the"Sandringham summit,"led by Queen Elizabeth after the announcement, that there could not be a "half-in, half-out" position.

In the years since, there has been a distinct rift between Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family, although he did meet with his father,King Charles, most recently in September 2025.

Despite the positive step, Prince Harry's relationship with his older brother remains strained. After their feud exploded into public view in 2020 with Harry and Meghan's step back from royal life, the divide deepened after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Netflix docuseries and Harry's memoir, each delivering criticism of the royal family.

Robert Lacey, author ofBattle of Brothers, told PEOPLE last year: "The rift is very profoundand very long-lasting. It will not be changed, in my opinion, until Harry makes a move and apologizes."

A 20-year-oldCalifornia momwas found guilty Wednesday in the death of her 1-year-old son, after reportedly leaving him in a sweltering car to receive lip and butt injections last June.

Maya Hernandez took a plea deal in the child endangerment case, ultimately dropping her first-degree murder charge in exchange for involuntary manslaughter.

On June 29, Bakersfield officers arrested and charged Hernandez after finding two young children left unattended in a vehicle for over two hours, according to a police report posted on a GoFundMe page. Authorities said the mother left the children unattended to undergo a cosmetic procedure inside a nearby medical spa.

While her youngest waspronounced dead, her two-year-old boy remained in stable condition and was placed in protective custody, police said.

Officers noted thattemperatures in Bakersfieldat the time ranged from 99 to 101 degrees, suggesting that the inside of the vehicle could have quickly reached deadly levels.

According to the GoFundMe page organized by the father's sister, the deceased child was identified as Amillio Guierrez. The aunt further noted that the father was incarcerated at the time of the incident, indicating that the surviving child was left without either parent during the tragedy.

Hernandez was originally charged with second-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, child cruelty and child endangerment counts,Court TVreported.

During the trialin December, prosecutor Stephanie Taconi slammed Hernandez for choosing her "looks" above her children.

"Putting her vanity, her looks, her desire to feel beautiful above her children was wrong," Taconi said. "Not only was it wrong, but it was criminal."

The defense argued that Hernandez's actions were not callously negligent, emphasizing that she had left the engine running specifically to keep the air conditioning on. However, Hernandez, who drove a Toyota Corolla Hybrid, was reportedly unaware of a safety feature designed to automatically shut off the engine after one hour.

The defense added that the mother left her children in their car seats with cookies and a bottle of milk each. She also gave her older son her phone so he could watch videos.

Prosecutors further challenged the defense, characterizing Hernandez's actions as a deliberate series of choices. Despite being told by medical spa staff that the children were welcome inside, she reportedly turned down the accommodation. In addition, prosecutors said Hernandez declined to reach out to relatives for assistance because she "didn't want to irritate" her sister.

Hernandez "chose to leave them in the car. She chose a break. She chose time to herself. She chose time to socialize with other adults," Taconi said. "And again, that choice cost Amillio his life."

Upon returning to her vehicle following the appointment, Hernandez reportedly noticed that Amillio appeared "off," according toLaw & Crime.

Witnesses reported that Hernandez carried her "limp" and "purple" 1-year-old into the medical spa, while another witness stated that the 2-year-old boy "looked like he was going to have a stroke," the outlet said.

Amillio was then rushed to the hospital, where he was found "pale with blue lips, feet and hands, unconscious and with no pulse," staff reportedly said, adding that the child was found to have a dangerously high temperature of 107.2 degrees.

Despite lifesaving measures, Amillio was pronounced dead.

Hernandez will spend a maximum of 15 years in prison. Her sentencing is scheduled for March 5.
