Lauren Conrad's Best Halloween Costumes Ever: Paddington Bear, More

17 Lauren Conrad is both a master of style and DIY-ing, so it should come as no surprise that she has crafted some of our favorite Halloween costumes over the years.

"When I was 11 I made my first Halloween costume," Conrad wrote via Instagram in October 2019, sharing a snap of a revamped tulle version of the costume. "I cut 2 holes in an old bedsheet and I was a ghost. This year I'm stepping up my  game a little."

Conrad previously told Us Weekly that she's very particular about choosing her yearly costume. "It's really hard because it's so much pressure on one day, you've gotta pick one look," she exclusively revealed in October 2014 .

Her "love for Halloween" doesn't extend to her husband, William Tell , however. Conrad told Us in October 2016 that he "usually takes the night off, which is fine because it gives [her] a chance to have an excuse for a girls' night out."

Conrad again dressed as a witch for Halloween 2025. The fashion brand founder appeared to even recycle her 2023 costume, courtesy of a black-and-white photo she shared via her Instagram Story. Lauren captioned the photo, "That witch."

Conrad donned a black dress, black heels and hat for her witch costume while attending the Casamigos Halloween bash in Los Angeles. She topped off the look with a broom.

"Wishing you a hauntingly good Halloween 🎃👻 {and a very happy unbirthday too 🫖🐇} from @LaurenConrad and all of us at Team LC!" the former reality star captioned an Instagram photo of her posing in a costume.

Conrad added a "spooky glamour" essence to a classic ghost costume by matching a light-colored slip dress, lots of tulle and a long white wig with a blackout pair of contact lenses.

The Laguna Beach alum was quite convincing as Tippi Herden's character Melanie Daniels in 1963's The Birds . "This year I wanted to depart from the cutesy costumes of Halloweens past and step into something a little more ... spooky," she wrote on her blog.

Conrad paid tribute to one of Disney's favorite villains with this chic and spot-on getup. "If she doesn't scare you, no evil thing will," the MTV personality captioned an Instagram photo of her look at the time.

Conrad opted for a spooky zombie look during one of her outings for the Halloween season. She wore a schoolgirl dress, knee-high socks and Mary Jane shoes and had black eye makeup to make her appear "dead" while holding a teddy bear.

The LC Lauren Conrad designer and her friends raised the roof — elegantly, of course — as a group of "party animals" in dresses and ears. "To complete our 'party animal' costumes, my team and I dressed up in party dresses and stacked on some jewels," Conrad, who was a deer, wrote via her website. "And let's be real ... No party would be complete without a glass of champagne."

Conrad channeled her inner Ariel in a homemade costume, complete with a sequined tail and a shell-accented bustier. "My DIY costume turned out pretty flippin' cute (pun intended!)," she shared on LaurenConrad.com.

The Celebrate author made a dress from piles of tulle and added a canvas bag — the better to haul tiny teeth in — to become a winged lady. Conrad offered on her website, "This costume was so much fun to wear! You can never have too much tulle, in my opinion. However, tulle tends to be a little sheer, so I would recommend wearing nude leggings and a tank top or a nude silk slip underneath this costume."

"Clowning around..." Conrad teased via social media, giving her followers a glimpse of her costume.

As the beloved British nanny, Conrad added a little sizzle to her spot-on ensemble with a semi-sheer blouse and a short skirt.

The Paper Crown designer donned the Disney character's polka dots and ears. (No surprise, when Conrad launched her first Disney collection at Kohl's in 2015, that it was Minnie-themed!) "I had this dress custom made, but you can easily find a plain red or red with white polka dot dress," she wrote on LaurenConrad.com.

The Hills alum hit Us, baby, one more time ... with yet another flawless Halloween costume! On her site, she joked, "This costume was fun because it was flirty but not too sexy (like some Halloween costumes can be ... you know what I mean)."

Conrad was the ultimate flapper in feathers, pearls and miles of fringe at Pur Jeans' holiday fete.
