I’m Copying Meghan Markle’s Fall 2026 Skinny Jeans Look for $40

I thought I was firmly on 'Team Wide-Leg Jeans,' but Meghan Markle is making me reconsider everything. Skinny jeans have been threatening a comeback for a while now, and her latest outfit might finally be the one that convinces me to give the controversial denim silhouette another chance this fall.

On October 1, 2026, the As Ever founder stepped out in sleek black skinny jeans from Rolla's, which retail for $159. She paired them with white sneakers, a cozy long-sleeve sweater and oversized sunglasses, creating the kind of easy fall outfit I could wear for errands, lunch or even a travel day. Luckily, I found a similar slim-fit version on Amazon for only $20.

The Lover Brand Fashion High-Waisted Skinny Jeans have the same slim, curve-hugging shape as Markle's for a fraction of the price. Made from a stretchy cotton blend, the jeans have an almost jeggings-like feel, while still looking like classic denim. Plus, the high-rise waistband adds extra support around the midsection, too.

Over 7,700 Amazon shoppers gave the jeans a five-star rating, including one customer who considers them flattering and comfy. "They are soft, they give and [have] stretch," they wrote. "These pants are truly a muffin buster! They fit like a skinny jean. They make your bottom look great!"

I may not be ready to abandon my baggy denim entirely, but Markle reminded me why skinny jeans were a closet staple for so long. For $20, I'm willing to give the curve-hugging silhouette another shot — especially when it makes recreating her easy fall outfit this affordable.
